Mariners Landing (semi-private) 540-297-7888 Famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones originally designed this scenic course. Seven of the eighteen holes play along or over the water. The course has several updates including a new clubhouse, reshaped tee boxes and wide cart paths. Sycamore Ridge (public) 540-297-6490 Nine whole course with nine more under construction and due to open in 2002. A tight challenging course requiring club selection and accuracy. A favorite with seniors and women. The Waterfront (private) 540-721-2653A beautiful and challenging course available to members, guests and some condo renters. Built in .1981, this was the first golf course on the lake. The Water's Edge (private) 540-576-3343 When built in 1992, this course made Golf Digest's best new courses list. With views of the lake from 17 holes and 5 sets of tee boxes, this is enjoyable and very challenging course for all levels of play. Though private, the public gets a chance to play when it is host to many community fund raising tournaments. The Westlake (semi-private) 540-721-4214 A beautiful "mountain" course by the lake with a restored farmhouse as its clubhouse. The course and facilities have been updated in the last few years making it a joy to visit. The elevation changes and the fast rolling greens make this a fun and challenging course to play. | |
